ABOUT

I have been an artist for just about forever - since way before I could pick up a pencil.  My mom can verify that I did indeed draw all over a white bedspread with red lipstick when I was only 2. From that point on, I was hooked. I made art any way I could. Somehow, I always knew that I'd be doing this for a living.

My desire to make art led me to attend and graduate from the Columbus College of Art & Design. I've been working in the field ever since, illustrating and designing for over 20 years. Working in a field can be tricky, especially when it rains or snows. If that starts happening, I leave the field, come inside and work in my warm and dry studio. No en plein air stuff going on here.  Being self-employed has its perks!

I make my home in the deep, dark recesses of Central Ohio with my wife and son, who patiently let me know when it's time to back away from the ol' drawing board. When I'm not illustrating, I'm a part time superhero/billionaire/spy.
